The advanced spool system allows the reel to excel for anglers fishing with finesse baits, such as handmade balsa crankbaits or lures that require light line for maximum fishability. It is also a great choice for flipping and pitching in tight cover when increased line capacity is not required. Even though they are small in size, the Shimano Curado 70 MGL K Casting Reels are equipped with a Cross Carbon Drag system that provides the power needed for stopping large caliber fish. And just like the rest of the Curado family, they are equipped with MicroModule Gears for enhanced smoothness, as well as, a HAGANE Body for increased rigidity and durability for years of fishing performance.
